Registered Nurse (RN) - LTAC MS/Tele

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in LTAC MS/Tele to provide comprehensive care in a fast-paced medical setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry and neuro care, with a focus on patient-centered outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in an LTAC setting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing practices.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, utilizing telemetry as needed for critical situations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Participate in patient and family education regarding health management and care procedures.
  • Adhere to infection control measures and organizational protocols.
  • Support and coordinate weekend and on-call nursing coverage as part of a rotating team.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of nursing experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry environment required.
  • Experience in Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) is preferred.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale are required.
  • Previous neuro experience is essential.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Work Environment

This position offers a night shift schedule of 4x12 hours, Monday through Friday, with the support of weekend on-call coverage managed through a rotating system among staff members.

Contract Details

The position is available for a contract duration of 13 to 26 weeks, allowing the opportunity for dedicated professionals to make a meaningful impact in patient care.
