Contract | Full-Time | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM) | 36–48 Hours/Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum settings according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff across the unit
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
- Provide care in a Level 2 NICU environment as required for day shift assignments
- Monitor fetal status using intermediate fetal monitoring techniques and respond appropriately to findings
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Demonstrated Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Level 2 NICU experience required for day shift
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Postpartum nursing experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility background
- Intermediate fetal monitoring proficiency
