Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36–48 Hours/Week | Shift: 6:15 PM – 5:45 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
- Provide hands-on Labor & Delivery nursing care; Labor experience is required and Postpartum experience is preferred
- Support Level 2 Nursery operations; Level 2 Nursery experience is required
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice (California)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring competency
- Experienced Labor & Delivery nurse with NICU experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
- Postpartum nursing experience
