    Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Birthing Center/Labor and Delivery unit averaging 170–190 births per month
    • Attend deliveries independently and circulate in C-section OR suites; assist with catching and transitioning newborns
    • Titrate drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin per unit protocols
    • Care for high-risk patients including those with preeclampsia, diabetes, psychiatric/social concerns, and positive illicit substance use (32 weeks and above)
    • Function in both Labor and Delivery and Postpartum settings, including routine mother-baby couplet care and attending low-risk deliveries
    • Follow AWHONN staffing ratio guidelines (1:2 L&D; 1:3–4 couplets) and utilize the Centricity Perinatal EFM system
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license valid in the state of Washington
    • Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience required
    • BLS certification required
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
    • Must be comfortable attending deliveries independently, circulating in C-sections, and transitioning newborns
    • Must have routine mother-baby and postpartum competencies
    • Prior travel nursing experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification preferred
    • Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records
    • Experience caring for high-risk obstetric populations including preeclampsia and diabetic patients
