Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn settings
- Assist with and circulate for vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including OR circulation
- Administer blood and blood products, insulin, magnesium sulfate, and manage epidural pumps and PCA pumps
- Start and maintain adult IVs and manage drains as required
- Support high-risk and low-risk antepartum, LDRP, couplet care, and post-op/pre-op OB-GYN patients
- Float to sister facilities as needed; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in LDRP, L&D, Postpartum, and Newborn care
- Required certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP
- Proficiency in fetal heart monitoring (FHM), IV start, and OR circulation
- Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
- Must live within 50 miles of the facility; local candidates are welcome
- Previous permanent employees of any affiliated Providence facility must have been separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification preferred
- Experience in high-risk antepartum and high-risk L&D settings
- Familiarity with couplet care and post-op/pre-op OB-GYN workflows
