Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Up to 26 Weeks | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care across all areas of a 15-bed LDRP unit, including antepartum, labor and delivery, couplet care, and triage
- Perform OR circulating and scrub nurse duties as well as newborn nursing at delivery
- Conduct lab draws and newborn infant hearing screens using designated equipment
- Float within the facility as a sitter when census and need require
- Float to an additional affiliated labor and delivery and mother-baby unit when census and need arise
Required Qualifications
- Valid Michigan RN license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in OB, Mother/Baby, and Labor and Delivery
- Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate and/or NCC C-EFM
- Required skills: OR circulating and fetal heart monitoring (FHM) triage
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic documentation
- Supervisor-level references required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- AWHONN Advanced certification
- Scrub nurse experience
