    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Anchorage, Alaska, 99508!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

    Location

    Anchorage, AK | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 or 26 Weeks | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients in a high-risk OB unit, including LDR rooms, OB Triage, antepartum, OR suites, and PACU
    • Manage and monitor high-risk antepartum patients, inductions, and third-trimester triage cases in a fast-paced environment with an average of up to 14 patients daily
    • Participate in OB triage assessment and third-trimester fetal testing for an average of 4–5 patients per shift
    • Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
    • Float to like OB units or affiliate hospitals as needed to meet facility staffing requirements
    • Work every other weekend and be willing to cover 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Alaska RN license (pending license accepted for submission; license must be in hand prior to offer)
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
    • Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience; first-time travelers accepted
    • Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers and declinations not accepted)
    • 2 references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
    • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals are not accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Charge RN experience preferred; facility is willing to train candidates with strong clinical backgrounds
    • Experience with Epic electronic health records
    • High-risk obstetrics or antepartum nursing background
