# Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum Registered Nurse – North Dakota

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 hour night shifts, rotating weekends and holidays; 1:1 or 1:2 for L&D, 1:3 mom/baby couplets, 1:4 for gyn patients

Highlights:
  • 19-bed acute care maternal services unit providing comprehensive Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Gynecological care
  • Care for high-risk obstetric patients, including advanced fetal monitoring and delivery support
  • EPIC charting system for gynecological patients; OBIX documentation with centralized monitoring for L&D
  • 36-hour structured orientation program designed for traveling nurses
  • Opportunity to float to Newborn Nursery and NICU for expanded experience
  • 13-week assignment with standard cancellation policy
Requirements:
  • Active RN license; submission with valid license required
  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Gynecological nursing
  • Current certifications: BLS/CPR, ACLS, and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required
  • STABLE certification preferred
  • Willingness to work night shifts with some day shift flexibility
  • Willingness to float to Newborn Nursery and NICU as needed
  • Must reside more than 80 miles from the facility
