**Job Description:**
- **Contract:** Seasonal RN - Labor and Delivery
- **Duration:** 13 weeks
- **Shift:** Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with alternating weekends
- **Call Requirements:** No call requirements
- **Certifications Required:** BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring

- **Location:** North Austin Medical Center, 4th Floor
- **Number of Beds:** 32
- **Number of Staff:** 150
**Staffing Details:**
- **Day Shift:**
- 1 Charge Nurse
- 1 Co-Charge Nurse
- RNs to accommodate 1:1 or 1:2 ratio
- **Night Shift:**
- 1 Charge Nurse
- 1 Co-Charge Nurse
- RNs to accommodate 1:1 or 1:2 ratio
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:2
**Equipment:**
- Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, US
- **EMR:** Meditech
**Permanent Positions Available?** Yes
**Typical Hiring Profile:**
- **Must Have:**
- EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE Competency, C-Section Circulation
- 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
- **Preferred:**
- Internal monitor placement competency
- Previous HCA assignments/employments
- Experience in Level IV unit (high volume unit)
**Typical Procedures:**
- SVD, Cerclages, C-Sections, TOLAC
