TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28204!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required. 3 years preferred. Traveler candidates are accepted if they have experience in a high-volume setting. License: Must hold a valid nursing license. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) AWHONN Intermediate Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) C-EFM is accepted in lieu of AWHONN certification. Must-Have: Experience with greater than 300 births per month. Ability to manage double labor assignments. Experience in circulating for Cesarean sections. Description: Position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-acuity environment. Direct patient care will focus on obstetrical patients 16 weeks and greater for intrapartum care, as well as high-risk antepartum and postpartum care. The role involves care for patients requiring both scheduled and unscheduled Cesarean births. Candidates should be skilled in conducting sterile vaginal exams and providing immediate newborn care. Expected patient ratios are 2:1. The unit experiences an average of 20 births in a 24-hour period and manages between 30-40 admits daily. Weekend shifts will occur every other weekend, with a minimum of 6 weekend shifts required over a 6-week scheduling period. Candidates must be open to floating as needed within the women’s unit. This is a demanding position, and potential applicants should prepare for a busy work environment. RTO after booking is not allowed. Call-offs or additional RTO requests on the unit may lead to a possible cancellation.
