Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,218 per week in Dickson, TN

Exciting Opportunity in Labor and Delivery** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Dickson, TN - **Unit Name:** Women’s Services - **Shift:** Full-time, 3 shifts per week, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, rotating weekends and holidays **Unit Specifics:** - **Number of Beds:** - LDRP: 9 beds - OBED: 1 bed - NICU: 4 beds - 1 OR suite - **Patient Ratios:** - 1:1 for active labors, inductions, C-sections - Couple care: 1:3 - Newborns: 1:1 until stable - NICU: 1:3 intermediate care (2 NICU nurses must be in the unit if needed) - **Staffing Description:** No techs or unit secretaries available - **Type of Equipment:** - CPN Central monitoring - IV pumps - Infant warmers - Tele-med robot for neonatologist - Bili-blankets - PCA pumps - **Documentation System:** Meditech and CPN - **Floating Policy:** Regular staff will float within the facility as needed; some staff cross-trained to float between LDRP & NICU - **Patient Experience Requirements:** Daily rounding on all patients and safety rounding **Hiring Profile:** - **Requested Skill Set:** - Must have labor and delivery experience - Ability to labor and recover mothers and transition newborns with assessment - Experience with shoulder dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage, and other OB emergencies preferred - **Advanced Skills Needed:** - Fetal monitoring education - Experience with inductions (Pitocin, cervidil) - **Procedures Performed on Unit:** - C-sections - Circumcisions - Intra-uterine monitoring - Vacuum or forceps assisted deliveries - **Certifications Required:** - BLS - NRP - Fetal Monitoring training **Dress Code:** - Required uniform: Pink and/or brown scrubs per the infant security policy for the unit **Additional Benefits:** - Join a team of 6 seasoned RNs with approx. 30 years’ experience each - Great resources and preceptors available for support - Experience working in a collaborative and supportive environment - Ideal opportunity to gain skills in labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonate care **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
