We are a Level 1 Trauma facility with a variety of patient types. Our unit manages vaginal and C-section deliveries, with occasional overflow hysterectomies. Expect patient ratios of 1 RN to 3-4 couples. Our team includes CNAs to assist with vital signs, glucose checks, baths, feeding, ambulation, and transport. We have a dedicated unit secretary on shift during the day and a house-wide call secretary at night. Collaborate with charge nurses who may also have patient assignments. Our facility offers 24/7 resources, including respiratory therapy and hospitalists. All nursing units utilize electronic medical records with industry-standard technology.
