Job Summary
L&D (Labor and Delivery) RN Nights The organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to provide compassionate and holistic care to patients in the maternity department. This role involves delivering safe, therapeutic, and individualized nursing care while collaborating with the healthcare team to promote positive outcomes for mothers and newborns.

Job Details

  • Location: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/17/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: CA RN license; CPR, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM) certifications; At least three years recent RN experience working in the RN role; At least two years recent RN experience working in a specialty area.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Triage experience.
  • Responsibilities include assessing patient and family needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, providing patient advocacy, coordinating with healthcare team members, and ensuring respectful, patient-centered care.
  • The RN will perform and evaluate nursing interventions while documenting patient responses and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • The position requires licensing, certifications, and skills in patient care, care planning, the nursing process, patient assessment, and therapeutic care.
  • Additional skills include patient advocacy, socio-cultural analysis, interdisciplinary collaboration, delegation, care coordination, quality outcomes, documentation, educational planning, and adult learning theory.
