Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Fetal monitoring certification or completed module required
• Strong experience with cervical exams, antepartum care, labor support, amnioinfusion, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IV starts, and Pitocin administration
• Postpartum and couplet care experience preferred
• Comfort working with HUGS security systems and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Scrub experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-volume maternity care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring, antepartum, postpartum, and couplet care patients
• Monitor fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, triage, and high-acuity obstetric care
• Perform cervical assessments and support labor management interventions as needed
• Administer medications and treatments in alignment with clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and ancillary team members to support positive maternal and neonatal outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation using unit systems and workflows
• Support patient education, including postpartum recovery and basic breastfeeding guidance
• Contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient Labor & Delivery unit environment
