Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery is responsible for providing care to women and their newborns during the labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. The role requires a nurse experienced in conducting cervical exams, managing antepartum and labor care, performing amnio infusions, and circulating C-sections.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct cervical exams and manage antepartum and labor care.
• Perform amnio infusions and fetal monitoring.
• Administer epidurals, IVs, and Pitocin.
• Circulate for C-sections and manage post-partum care from transition to discharge.
• Catching/receiving newborns and conducting APGAR assessments.
• Support breastfeeding knowledge.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience; post-partum exposure preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, fetal monitoring.
• Experience with Epic EMR is strongly preferred.
• First-time travelers are considered.
