Job Details

- Position Description: Responsible for caring for laboring patients, managing electronic fetal monitoring, and assisting with maternal procedures including Cesarean sections.
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in a Labor and Delivery setting; BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications; Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN); active license in the state of Texas.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cesarean section circulation and placement of FSE and IUPC.
- Additional Information: Team handles antepartum care/testing, continuous fetal monitoring, and post-delivery recovery. The unit uses advanced equipment such as Hill-Rom birthing beds, GE core metrics FM, and Panda warmers. Nurses should adhere to policies on Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, and other protocols; dress code requires royal blue scrubs.
