Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• NRP certification required
• RNC certification preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts with flexibility for weekends and holidays as needed
• Valid driver’s license required with submission
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate nursing care to laboring patients and newborns in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond promptly to clinical needs in a fast-paced obstetric setting
• Assist with deliveries and support safe, coordinated care throughout the birth process
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote excellent patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols and nursing standards
• Support a positive patient experience through clear communication, empathy, and professionalism
