Interventional Radiology (IR) - Registered Nurse (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days (10-hour or 12-hour shifts) | On-site | Includes 1 weeknight call per week and 1 weekend call per month
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with and provide nursing care for interventional radiology procedures including tunneled line placements, nephrostomy tubes, and drain insertions
- Support biopsy, embolization, chest tube, and TIPS procedures in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Monitor and assess patient condition before, during, and after interventional procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation including weeknight and weekend call assignments
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary IR team to ensure safe and efficient patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Experience in Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Hands-on experience with tunneled lines, nephrostomy tubes, embolizations, TIPS procedures, and chest tubes
- Comfort working in a high-acuity procedural setting with on-call responsibilities
