Interventional Radiology (IR) - Registered Nurse (Travel)

Contract | Days (12-hour or 10-hour shifts) | On-Site | Includes 1 weeknight call per week and 1 weekend call per month
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with and provide nursing care for interventional radiology procedures including tunneled line placements, nephrostomy tubes, and drain insertions
- Support biopsy, embolization, chest tube, and TIPS procedures in a specialized IR setting
- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after interventional procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation including weeknight and weekend call coverage
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary IR team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Experience in Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Hands-on experience with IR-specific procedures such as TIPS, embolizations, and nephrostomy tube management
- Familiarity with scrub and circulating roles within an IR or special procedures environment
