Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Nurse Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a fast-paced interventional radiology department. The position requires clinical expertise in performing patient assessments, assisting with procedures, and monitoring hemodynamics within an acute care setting.
Job Details
- Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association (AHA), Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA)
- Education/License Requirements: Valid RN license, no specific degree required, but must hold a current RN license to practice.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience, with specific experience in Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) management required.
- Location Requirements: Local candidates within 80 miles of the facility.
- Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts totaling 10 hours per day, four days per week, with a rotating day off; schedule includes weeknight and weekend call rotation, approximately once every 3 weekdays and once every 3 weekends.
- Responsibilities include verifying orders, patient assessments, educating patients, setting up procedures, circulating cases, administering moderate sedation, continuous hemodynamic monitoring, documentation, and team coordination.
- EMR/Equipment Utilized: Merge, Cerner.
- Additional work details include participation in cath lab, electrophysiology, and neuro procedures, supporting cardiologist on-call hours, and adherence to unit-specific orientation protocols.
- Please note, candidates must specify if they have previous experience working for Marshfield, with an end date at least 6 months prior to submission if applicable.
