Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time assignment with 4 procedure rooms and average daily census of 25 patients. Weekend coverage includes every third weekend (no more than 2 per month). Call requirements include 8-10 call shifts per month plus every third weekend, rotated among a 3-person call team. Maximum of 7 days requested time off per contract.

Highlights:

  • Interventional Radiology position requiring stroke thrombectomy experience (required)
  • Epic EMR system required; additional systems include Pyxis and SBAR
  • Patient population ranges from pediatrics through geriatrics
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
  • Scrubs provided by the facility
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted

Requirements:

  • Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state license accepted)
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology nursing experience
  • Epic EMR system experience required
  • Stroke thrombectomy experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Proficiency in interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, carotid stenting, vascular access management, procedural sedation monitoring, and vascular closure systems
  • Skills in pressure ulcer assessment, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, and emergency medication administration
  • Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
