Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (CPU)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/PCU (CPU) setting with a focus on intermediate to advanced acuity patients
Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
Initiate and manage IV access and infusions as part of patient care protocols
Document all patient care activities accurately using Cerner EMR
Adhere to unit dress code — Royal Blue scrubs required (not provided by facility)
Complete up to 8 hours of non-billable onboarding modules via HealthStream prior to start date

Required Qualifications

Active, unrestricted RN license (must be obtained prior to start; if pending, proof that the process is underway may be considered)
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Minimum 3+ years of recent Stepdown/PCU (CPU) experience
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and IV insertion
Minimal to no requested time off (RTO); especially around holidays — any RTO must be disclosed at time of submission
Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility are not eligible; candidates residing within 31–50 miles may be accepted at a local rate
