    Contract | Days | 8, 10, or 13-week contracts available | Expected 36–48 hours/week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Contribute professional and clinical nursing knowledge and skills as a member of the interdisciplinary care team in the provision and management of patient care on a Med Surg/Telemetry/PCU unit
    • Manage and monitor patients requiring chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines
    • Administer and titrate vasoactive and cardiac drip medications including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, and Argatroban
    • Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
    • May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
    • Expected to work 1–2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Illinois RN license required; Iowa RN license required (or obtainable upon offer)
    • BLS certification (AHA) required
    • ACLS certification (AHA) required
    • Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience required
    • Demonstrated competency with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, central lines, and vasoactive drip titration required
    • Must not have been employed by the facility within the last 12 months
    • Must have a taxable home address located at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • At least one prior travel nursing contract completed
    • Experience working in a high-acuity telemetry, PCU, or step-down environment
    • Familiarity with EPIC EMR
