Job Title
PCU / Surgical Stepdown – Registered Nurse (Travel)
Location
Orlando, FL | PCU Observation Unit
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Every Other Weekend Required | 12-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a PCU Observation Unit setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring progressive care and stepdown-level interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- May be asked to float to PCU or MS/MT units as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida RN License required
- BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification required
- No on-call requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Background in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown care settings
- Comfort with floating to varied units within a similar acuity range
