    Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a combined Stepdown and Floor unit (31 beds) managing a variety of diagnoses including cardiac, MedSurg, IDDM, COPD, trauma, orthopedic, ENT, urology, and pain management cases
    • Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3 on the Stepdown unit and 1:5–6 on the Floor unit
    • Titrate drips in the Stepdown setting and manage Heparin infusions on the Floor
    • Monitor telemetry, read, and interpret cardiac rhythm strips independently; telemetry technicians are available on unit
    • Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, respiratory therapy, and nurse aides to deliver safe, coordinated patient care
    • Adhere to holiday coverage expectations and dress code requirements (Royal Blue scrubs)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure in good standing
    • Current BLS certification (required)
    • Current ACLS certification (required)
    • Demonstrated ability to titrate IV drips, including Heparin infusions
    • Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry/cardiac rhythm strips
    • Compliance with facility eligibility requirements for travel nursing placements
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in a Stepdown, PCU, or IMC setting
    • Familiarity with a high-acuity, multi-diagnosis patient population including cardiac and trauma patients
    • Experience working in a telemetry-monitored unit environment
