Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Neuro Telemetry)

Lubbock, TX | Short Term Acute Care – Level II Trauma Center
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Neuro Telemetry/IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting within a short-term acute care facility
- Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:4
- Float between units as needed to support staffing and patient care needs
- Work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule as part of the standard rotation
- Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Complete required facility modules prior to start and during orientation
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant RN experience required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at the time of submittal — post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at an adjusted rate
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (may include Charge RNs or Leads)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Neuro Telemetry, IMC, PCU, or Stepdown setting
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and neurological patient populations
- Experience working in a high-acuity acute care or trauma center environment
