    Key Responsibilities
    • Float between PCU and MS/Tele acuity units as staffing needs are assessed each shift; expect approximately 75% of time in MS/Tele and 25% in PCU
    • Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate treatment effectiveness
    • Administer medications safely and in accordance with state practice standards and facility policies
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for care coordination across hospital departments, collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, families, and caregivers
    • Clinically manage patients with multi-system conditions, including hemodynamic monitoring, chest tube care, and advanced respiratory modalities
    • Advocate for patient safety by participating in ongoing quality improvement initiatives and upholding patient rights and privacy
    Required Qualifications
    • Current RN license in the state of practice or covered under a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
    • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
    • NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification required
    • Dysrhythmia exam required prior to start (study guide available)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • 2 or more years of RN experience, with prior travel nursing experience preferred
    • Experience with ventilator management preferred
    • EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) familiarity preferred
    • CCRN or PCCN certification preferred
