    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (CHF Telemetry)

    Location

    Chandler, AZ | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 12-hour shifts, 7PM–7AM | Self-scheduling | Every other weekend required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed CHF Telemetry unit managing diagnoses such as CHF, fluid overload, shortness of breath, arrhythmias, and general telemetry patients
    • Monitor and interpret EKG strips independently; unit utilizes centralized telemetry monitoring
    • Titrate cardiac drips including heparin, Lasix, bumex, and other cardiac medications as indicated
    • Manage respiratory support including nasal cannula and BiPAP/CPAP for obstructive sleep apnea
    • Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3–4, collaborating with PCTs and charge nurses
    • Float to other telemetry floors as needed based on unit census
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license in the state of Arizona (or compact eligibility)
    • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a telemetry, IMC, PCU, or stepdown setting — required, no exceptions
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • Proficiency in EKG monitoring and independent interpretation of cardiac rhythms
    • Dysrhythmia Exam must be completed prior to placement — maximum of 2 attempts allowed; candidates who do not pass are ineligible for placement for 6 months
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience titrating cardiac drips in a high-acuity telemetry environment
    • Familiarity with CHF patient populations and fluid management protocols
    • Prior experience working in a self-scheduling, block-scheduling environment
