Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Step-Down) setting during day shift hours
- Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float between two campus locations as needed, with a primary campus assignment
- Complete all required facility learning modules prior to and during the assignment
- Adhere to facility dress code; navy scrubs required
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions or hits on record
- Minimum of 24 months PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (required)
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (required)
- PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
- Valid driver's license required to verify residency
- Must reside outside of Arizona — Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Flexibility with facilities, shifts, and departments is strongly advantageous
- Experience working in multi-campus or float pool environments
