Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-acuity telemetry stepdown care in a fast-paced IMCU environment
- Deliver post-ICU care including management of drips and stable ventilated patients (no vasopressors)
- Maintain patient ratios of 3–4:1 in IMCU with PCT assistance
- Float to Telemetry and Telemetry/Med-Surg units as needed, with ratios of 5–6:1
- Document patient care and clinical findings using Cerner electronic health records
- Work independently in a high-acuity, fast-paced clinical setting
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Experience in IMC, PCU, stepdown, or telemetry nursing
- Ability to manage drips and care for stable ventilated patients
- Comfort and willingness to float to Telemetry and Telemetry/Med-Surg units
- Ability to work independently in a high-acuity environment
- Must live at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Cerner electronic health records
- Background in post-ICU or progressive care nursing
- Experience working with PCT-assisted care teams
