Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-acuity telemetry stepdown care, including post-ICU patient management
- Administer and monitor IV drips and manage stable ventilated patients
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
- Float to telemetry, telemetry med/surg, and med/surg units as needed
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safe patient ratios
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in an IMC, PCU, or stepdown setting
- Proficiency with Cerner charting
- Ability to manage drips and care for stable vented patients; no vasopressor management required
- Must reside 80 or more miles from the facility
- Ability to work independently in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience floating to telemetry or med/surg units
- Familiarity with PCT-assisted care models and varying patient ratios
