Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit setting with a patient ratio of 1:5
- Care for a large cardiac population across telemetry and PCU floors, including patients with varied acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform nursing assessments, interventions, and documentation using Meditech EMR
- Float to inpatient Medical/Telemetry and Rehabilitation units as needed
- Collaborate with RNs and CNAs across day and night shifts to ensure continuity of care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care PCU experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Flexibility and willingness to float to various inpatient units
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Chemotherapy certification (opportunity to be scheduled on Oncology unit)
- Strong team-player mentality with demonstrated compassion in patient care
