Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) | Night Shift (7P–7A)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit setting with a focus on a large cardiac population, including telemetry monitoring
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 during both day and night shifts
- Collaborate with RNs and CNAs across multiple inpatient units including Med/Tele and Rehab
- Float to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Perform varied procedures across units, caring for patients with both acute and chronic medical conditions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1–2 years of current acute care PCU experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Willingness and ability to float to multiple inpatient units
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Chemotherapy certification (opportunity to be scheduled on Oncology unit)
- Experience caring for cardiac and oncology patient populations
