    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

    Location

    Augusta, GA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide PCU-level nursing care to a patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics on a Neuro/Stroke PCU floor with mixed medical, respiratory, and cardiac patients
    • Titrate cardiac drips and perform continuous telemetry monitoring
    • Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:4 on a 36-bed unit with an average daily census of 30
    • Document and communicate patient information using Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR methodology
    • Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
    • Work every other weekend and fulfill holiday obligations per assignment schedule
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
    • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers accepted
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
    • Proficiency with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR communication
    • All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule changes permitted post-offer or during orientation week
    • Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed within required deadlines to avoid start date delays
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in a Neuro/Stroke, cardiac, or respiratory step-down or PCU setting
    • Familiarity with continuous telemetry monitoring and cardiac drip titration in a high-acuity environment
