Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Float Pool)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to an adult through geriatric population across MS, MS/Tele, and PCU units
- Float as required to all MS, MS/Tele, and PCU units within the hospital
- Manage patient ratios of 1:4–5 on PCU and 1:5–6 on MS/MS Tele units
- Utilize Epic (required), Pyxis, and SBAR communication framework in daily clinical practice
- Work every other weekend (approximately 6 weekends over a 13-week contract) and fulfill holiday obligations per facility policy
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in Georgia or a Compact state required at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience (first-time travelers accepted)
- Proficiency in Epic EMR required
- Must be flexible with scheduling and willing to float across designated units
- All RTO must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule changes permitted post-offer or during orientation week
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with MS, MS/Tele, and PCU patient populations and diagnoses
- Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
- Experience in a float pool or multi-unit environment
