    Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

    Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide intermediate-level and medical-surgical care to an adult and geriatric patient population admitted via direct admission or emergency room pathways
    • Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses including dysrhythmias, CHF, acute onset stroke or stroke symptoms, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and Myocardial Ischemia
    • Independently self-monitor all patients on continuous hardwire telemetry, with monitoring interventions no more frequent than every hour
    • Maintain a 1:4 patient ratio within a 12-bed unit, with a focus on patient throughput and patient-centered care
    • Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
    • Work every other weekend and adhere to holiday scheduling requirements as outlined in contract terms
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure in Georgia or a Compact state required at time of submission
    • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience; first-time travelers accepted
    • Current BLS certification required
    • Current ACLS certification required
    • Proficiency with Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing system
    • Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed within required deadlines to ensure on-time start
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in an intermediate care, PCU, or stepdown unit setting
    • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac patient management
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on patient throughput
