Contract | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to an adult through geriatric population across IMC, PCU, and Medical-Surgical/Telemetry settings
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:4–5 on PCU and 1:5–6 on Medical-Surgical and Medical-Surgical Telemetry units
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for a broad range of Medical-Surgical, MS Telemetry, and PCU diagnoses
• Float as required to all Medical-Surgical, Medical-Surgical Telemetry, and PCU units within the facility
• Utilize electronic health record and medication dispensing systems accurately and efficiently
• Adhere to all scheduling requirements including every-other-weekend rotation and applicable holiday obligations

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Proficiency with Epic (required), Pyxis, and SBAR communication framework
• Willingness and ability to float to all Medical-Surgical, MS Telemetry, and PCU units
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements completed within required deadlines prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a stepdown, PCU, or telemetry nursing environment
• Familiarity with a wide range of Medical-Surgical and PCU patient diagnoses and care protocols
• Experience working in a high-acuity float pool or multi-unit setting
