PCU / Surgical Stepdown – Registered Nurse (Travel)

Orlando, FL | IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 12-hour shifts (7p–7a) | Expected 36 hours/week | 6-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit environment
- Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate-level care, including stroke and PCU populations
- Adhere to unit-standard float requirements as needed
- Participate in every-other-weekend rotation as part of the standard schedule
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- RQI (Resuscitation Quality Improvement) certification required
- Experience in a PCU, Stepdown, or IMC setting
- Ability to fulfill unit-standard float requirements
- Availability for every-other-weekend shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Stroke care experience strongly preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Stepdown unit
- Familiarity with multi-system PCU patient populations
