Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM; 3:1 patient ratio; Every other weekend required; 13-week assignment

• Experience with advanced monitoring and life support equipment including BiPap, heated high-flow oxygen, tracheostomy care, chest tubes, and titratable drips
• EPIC electronic medical record system
• Comprehensive skill development in cardiac monitoring, moderate sedation procedures, and CIWA assessments
• Float opportunities to cardiac surgery IMC, medical telemetry, medical-surgical, and orthopedic-neurology units
• Collaborative team environment with consistent staffing ratios and structured bedside handoff protocols

Requirements:

• Active, permanent Alaska RN license (temporary licenses not accepted) – must be held at time of application
• Minimum 1 year of step-down ICU/IMC/PCU experience required
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry and cardiac monitoring experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIH-SS) certifications required
• Alaska RN fingerprinting must be completed during onboarding
• Preferred: Experience with tracheostomy patients requiring continuous BiPap or long-term vent support
• Preferred: Experience titrating drips including dopamine, dobutamine, nitroglycerin, cardene, ketamine, heparin, Cardizem, and amiodarone
• Preferred: Experience with CIWA assessments and alcohol/drug withdrawal treatment protocols
