Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (IMCU/PCU) – New York

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Upstate New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM; floating required as needed

Highlights:

  • 64-bed Intermediate Care Unit with 15 designated neuro beds providing critical step-down care
  • Diverse case mix including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions (COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, CV step-down, post-op)
  • Advanced specialty equipment experience: temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, Neptune, and chronic ventilators with respiratory therapy support
  • Epic EMR system utilized for documentation and patient care coordination
  • Patient population includes adults aged 18 and older
  • Contract assignment with opportunities for experienced IMCU/PCU travelers

Requirements:

  • Active, unencumbered New York RN license (verification via NURSYS required)
  • Minimum 2+ years of recent IMCU/PCU nursing experience with documented travel experience
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Epic EMR experience mandatory
  • Completed specialty-specific skills checklist
  • Valid driver's license and current resume required for submission
