Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin.

Opportunity:
RN - IMC
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour evening/night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule includes Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required
• Rotate between two units: D6/5 IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care unit and B4/3 IMC Thoracic unit
• Patient ratio of 1:3 for days, nights, and weekends
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years required
• Travel experience required
• Telemetry oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
• Vent and transplant experience required - must be strongly proficient in these areas
• Must have experience in an Academic Level I or II trauma center or similar size hospital
• Telemetry test must be passed prior to being cleared to start
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA only)
• Wisconsin RN or compact RN license required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience required
• Key skills required include: cardiac telemetry, ventilator management, arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, central line care/management, PICC line management, titration of cardiac and insulin drips, post-transplant care, tracheostomy care/management, and wound care/wound vac
• Provide comprehensive and specialized nursing care to acutely ill adult patients who may present with multiple comorbidities, varied medical diagnoses, and hemodynamic instability
• Care for specialty populations including patients with Cystic Fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, and post lung transplant diagnoses
• Work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment with access to IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Locals within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
