Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to an adult and geriatric ICU population with diagnoses including ARDS, Sepsis, Stroke, STEMI, DKA, Cardiogenic shock, GIB, COPD exacerbation, Encephalopathy, Liver failure, Drug overdose, and ESRD on CRRT
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2–3, with the possibility of taking a third patient as census demands
• Utilize unit systems including Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR communication framework
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Adhere to holiday scheduling expectations; travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment period
• Complete all compliance documentation and orientation modules on time to ensure an on-schedule start

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with CRRT management
• Familiarity with Epic EMR in an ICU setting
• Experience managing complex, multi-system critical care diagnoses
