Must-Have: Experience in care of ventilated patients, management of central lines, and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
Description:
The position requires a registered nurse specializing in ICU care.
The patient population includes adults to geriatrics.
Common patient diagnoses include ARDS, sepsis, stroke, STEMI, DKA, post-operative complications, and more.
The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2-3, and travelers should be prepared to take a 3rd patient.
The unit has a total of 24 rooms with an average daily census of 19.
Nurses will work with various interdisciplinary support teams, including IV teams, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.
Weekend shifts are required every other weekend unless specified otherwise.
Holiday work is expected during major holidays that fall within the assignment period.
Full compliance is required to start on time.
Candidates will undergo a clinical screen to determine fit before progressing in the hiring process.
Travelers should be experienced and prepared for a potentially high patient ratio.
