    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – ICU (Float Pool)

    Location

    San Francisco, CA | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 3x12-Hour Rotating Day/Night Shifts (7:00–19:30 / 19:00–7:30)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in ICU settings as part of a float pool assignment, covering all TCUs, ICUs, ED, and PACU
    • Float to multiple departments and facilities as needed based on patient census and staffing requirements
    • Deliver high-acuity nursing care in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment
    • Complete non-billable orientation modules prior to start and annually as required
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic
    Required Qualifications
    • Active California RN License (must be in hand at time of submission)
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
    • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
    • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
    • Teaching hospital experience required
    • 2 completed references from most recent employer required at time of submission
    • All prior employment at any University of California medical facility or affiliated facility must be disclosed, including dates, units, and manager names for rehire eligibility review
    • All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of offer; no additional RTO requests will be accepted mid-contract
    • Local candidates are accepted and are held to the same requirements as travel candidates
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • 2.5 or more years of ICU experience
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
