    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – ICU (Night Shift, 13-Week Contract)

    Location

    San Antonio, TX | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Rotating Weekends | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
    • Administer and monitor vasopressors and other critical care interventions
    • Document patient assessments, care plans, and clinical outcomes using Meditech
    • Float to other units (including Med/Surg) as needed per facility floating policy
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PCAs and unit coordinators in a 14-bed ICU environment
    • Maintain compliance with all required certifications including ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses are not accepted)
    • Current ACLS certification required
    • Current BLS certification required
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
    • Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience
    • Experience with vasopressor administration
    • Reliable attendance record; candidates with a history of call-ins or no-shows will not be considered
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
    • Experience in a critical care or neuro ICU environment
    • Familiarity with floating policies across ICU and Med/Surg units
