Exciting Opportunity for Critical Care RN in the MICU!
Join a leading healthcare facility renowned for providing high-quality care to patients from San Antonio and beyond! We are seeking passionate and skilled Registered Nurses to be part of our Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) team.
- Unit: MICU (4C) (655)
- Classification: RN-MICU
- Shift Detail: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Weekend Requirement: Every Other
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient-focused care
- Utilize strong critical thinking skills in high-pressure environments
- Perform essential procedures such as intubations, central lines, and chest tubes
Qualifications:
- Must Have:
- Minimum 2-3 years of ICU experience
- ACLS and BLS certification
- NIH Stroke Certification
- Preferred Skills:
- MICU & MSICU background
- IABP and CRRT exposure
- Experience with Meditech
- Additional Requirements:
- ACTIVE TX RN License (TEMP LICENSE NOT ACCEPTED)
Dress Code:
- Navy scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket
- Nails must be clean and healthy
- Hair should be neat, clean, and free from extreme styles/colors
- Body art should be covered whenever possible
- Visible piercings, other than ears, are prohibited
