    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – ICU (12-Hour Days)

    Location

    Puyallup, WA | Acute Care (Level III Trauma Center)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Full-Time | 12-Hour Day Shifts | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting, managing patients with diagnoses including respiratory failure, GI bleeds, DKA, sepsis, CVAs, post-arrest, and complicated post-operative conditions
    • Perform and manage advanced therapies including ventilator management, invasive line management, CRRT, and hypothermia protocol as applicable
    • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage trachs, ostomies, and general drains
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR (required)
    • Float within scope of practice to other units for partial shifts as needed, maintaining appropriate patient ratios
    • Demonstrate strong communication skills and provide patient teaching and education throughout the care continuum
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Washington
    • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
    • ACLS certification required
    • BLS certification required
    • NIHSS certification required
    • Proficiency with EPIC EMR required; experience with Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems preferred
    • Telemetry competency required prior to or during orientation
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with higher-level ICU therapies such as Rotoprone, manual prone positioning, TPA administration, and CRRT
    • Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills and experience with vasoactive and titrated IV medication management
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment requiring flexibility and adaptability across multiple patient populations
