    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – ICU (Nights)

    Location

    Petoskey, MI | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | Full-Time

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide 24/7 nursing care for critically ill and unstable patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting
    • Manage life-support equipment including ventilators and interpret vital signs continuously
    • Titrate complex intravenous drips and administer medications accurately and safely
    • Perform comprehensive head-to-toe patient assessments on an ongoing basis
    • Coordinate advanced care planning and communication with the multidisciplinary medical team
    • Float to similar units as needed within the facility
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Michigan RN license (LARA and Nursys verification required)
    • Minimum 1 year of direct ICU experience (float experience does not qualify)
    • EKG experience required
    • ACLS certification required
    • BLS certification required
    • Willingness to float to similar units within the facility
    • Completed skills checklist within the past year is required
    • Candidates with a permanent address within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers and may be subject to an adjusted travel rate
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in Neuro, CVICU, or Trauma settings
    • Ventilator management experience
    • Experience with CRRT and intra-aortic balloon pumps
