    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – ICU

    Location

    Odessa, TX

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00) | 36–48 Hours/Week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting, utilizing critical care nursing skills and clinical judgment.
    • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using electronic health record systems.
    • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
    • Float to Medical/Surgical or Telemetry units as needed based on census, with patient ratios of 5–6:1.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
    • Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
    • TNCC or TCAR certification required.
    • NIH Stroke Scale certification and a minimum of 6 hours of Stroke education (facility can assist if needed).
    • EKG course completion required (facility can assist if needed).
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
    • Comfort and flexibility with floating to Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units.
