Registered Nurse – ICU / PCU

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:00
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for ICU-level patients within a newly opening PCU environment
- Support Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, PCU, and/or critical care patient populations
- Float to MS/Tele, PCU, and critical care units as census requires
- Maintain patient ratios of 6:1 for MS/Tele and 2:1 for Critical Care
- Obtain TNCC/TCAR certification within the facility-allotted timeframe if not held at time of start
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in ICU or high-level PCU setting
- Must be available to start early October
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (local candidates will not be accepted)
- Resume required with submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC or TCAR certification (facility may allow start with certification pending)
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records
- Background in both PCU and critical care nursing environments
